Sailing on the Celebrity Apex

The Celebrity Apex has to be one of the most beautiful ships I have sailed on! The décor is relaxing and calming, the staff couldn’t be nicer, and the food and entertainment are top notch.

Entering our cabin, my roommate and I were in shock at the size of our concierge cabin and the décor. We had an infinite veranda which makes the cabin feel a lot bigger. Instead of having a separation between the balcony and the cabin the veranda is an extension of the room with optional folding doors to separate the space. It has a floor to ceiling window with a bar across the center, you can just push a button to lower the top portion for the ocean air. You can also push another button for a shade to come down for sleep. There was plenty of storage space for the two of us and the bathroom was a considerable size with a roomy shower. The beds were quite comfortable and having a pillow menu where I can order a body pillow just made sleeping that much cozier.

The food was delicious everywhere. No matter where we ate the menus had assorted options and everything, I ordered was delicious! I would suggest making reservations at Le Petit Chef and Family to experience something entertaining and unique. Your table comes alive with an animated story that goes through each season as your courses are prepared. Trust me it is not just for children, most of the dining room the night we went was adults. The food was delicious, and the experience was well worth it! We also dined in three of the four main dining restaurants. The Cosmopolitan offered an American menu with global influences, Tuscan Restaurant offered Italian inspired dishes including homemade pasta the Normandy Restaurant features contemporary French cuisine. Not matter where we ate, we were not disappointed.

The entertainment was excellent, each night we had the option of a 7:30 show or the 9:30 show which each lasted 45 minutes, a few nights we saw the show before dinner and some nights after dinner. The talent was wonderful from singers and dancers in The Tree of Life to acrobatics and a light show in Crystallize. On our last day at sea, we spent the afternoon in The Club to play Deal or No Deal with audience participation and then followed by Circus where you can immerse yourself on a unique twist of the circus and sitting in the front row, we really felt part of the show!

I honestly cannot say enough about my experience on the Celebrity Apex, you will just have to try it for yourself!
